Tesla is playing at the top of the electric pickup world with its Cybertruck model. It has been reported that the company, which has been running a smooth delivery process for the past months, will face some major mistakes. People who pre-ordered the vehicle received information that Cybertruck deliveries would be delayed.
Tesla Cybertruck is now struggling with a wiper problem
Tesla has started to report delays in Cybertruck deliveries, according to reports from owners. The company has identified a problem with the electric pickup’s windshield wiper system.
Customers shared that Cybertruck deliveries have been delayed due to problems with the wiper motor and hardware. One vehicle owner claimed that the Cybertrucks delivered so far had a windshield wiper arm problem.
Windshield wiper problems seem to have spread to many customers. Many Tesla users have reported that their windshield wipers are not working or have broken after delivery. Tesla said that replacing faulty wiper motors “could take weeks”.
This indicates that new Cybertruck deliveries will be delayed. Although there is no official statement from the company, the problem with the wipers seems to be a chronic malfunction.
This is not the first failure to affect Cybertruck production and deliveries. In April, Tesla issued a recall warning for hundreds of models after it found that the electric pickup’s accelerator pedal could jam.
